VOLLEYBALL: Oxford starts 2022 season off with win over B-G
BAINBRIDGE – Tuesday’s matchup between Bainbridge-Guilford and Oxford was the first volleyball match of the 2022 season for both teams. Oxford defeated B-G in all three games, including a close 25-23 first game.
For the Blackhawks, Ava Benjamin led the way with 13 assists along with three aces. Senior Madalyn Barrows had six kills and five digs while fellow seniors Tamera Hurlburt had three aces and Jadyn Ruff had six digs. Quinnlin LaMonica had 10 kills in the win.
For the Bobcats, Freshman Kaylynn Crandall had 10 assists as Jordyn Parsons had five kills. Mackenzie Terebo and Alyssa Finch each had three aces.
