VOLLEYBALL: Oxford stays hot against Greene

OXFORD – On Wednesday, the Oxford Blackhawks volleyball team picked up its fourth straight win as they defeated Greene in all three games.
Ava Benjamin had a great night for the Blackhawks with 21 assists, 13 aces, and two kills.
Mirrah Stewart picked up six aces and one dig as teammates Elizabeth Knapp and Hailey Richardson each earned two aces. Richardson also had two digs in the win.
Leah Oliver led Oxford with four kills while Mya-Rae Roys collected three and Madalyn Barrows picked up two kills. Roys, along with Jadyn Ruff and Brianna Fowlston, all earned a dig.
Lillian Kemp and Nicole Marks stood out for Greene. Kemp achieved an ace, a kill, an assist, and a block. Marks had two kills, an assist, and a block while Peydon Fowler and Lyla Biefeldt helped out with an ace a piece.
Oxford (4-0) looks to continue to play strong against Hancock while Greene (0-4) looks for their first win of the season vs Afton. Both games will take place on September 27.
