GIRLS SOCCER: Greene and Unatego end in a tie
GREENE – On Friday afternoon, the Greene Trojans girls soccer team hosted Unatego, where both teams ended in a 2-2 tie in double overtime.
Sarah Markham and Cassie Bulter scored the two goals for the Trojans. Butler’s goal was off a pass from Andrea Trifunovic.
Both of Unatego’s goals were scored by Kylie Mussaw with assists by Avery James and Harly Birdsall.
Greene’s Molly Cornell made 20 saves while Unatego’s Sarah Ostrander made 13 saves in goal.
Greene hosts Unadilla Valley on Wednesday with a game scheduled for 5 p.m.
