NHS Tennis falls to Chenango Valley

CHENANGO VALLEY – On Wednesday, the Norwich girls tennis team fell short in a 5-2 loss to Chenango Valley. This was the second time this season the Warriors picked up a win against Norwich, but this loss was an improvement from the 7-0 loss the first time.
Norwich collected the two points from Willow Swingle, who won her singles match that went into a tiebreaker, and from Katie Zieno and Caiden Lewis’ win in doubles.
Norwich will honor its six seniors; Emma Brooks, Willow Swingle, Caiden Lewis, Autumn Clum, Cabrarrah Lawton, and Katie Zieno on Friday against Seton Catholic at 5:30 p.m.
