GOLF: Oxford defeats Delhi in the final regular season match

OXFORD – On Friday, the Oxford Blackhawks golf team earned the 236-274 victory over Delhi, finishing 6-5 to end the regular season.
Degan Endress led the way with an all-team best 44 while teammate Bennett Paden chipped in a 45 for the Blackhawks.
Sylas Emerson, Ethan Hodge and Kyle Benjamin all shot a 49 to round out the scoring.
Delhi’s top medalist was Gavin Little who finished with a 50. Little’s teammates ranged from 51-61 and could not keep up with Oxford.
Next up for the Blackhawks is the MAC Golf Championship on Thursday afternoon at the Oneonta Country Club.

OX (236): Degan Endress 44, Bennett Paden 45, Sylas Emerson, Ethan Hodge, and Kyle Benjamin 49, Olyvia Hivinger (73-not used).
DE (274): Gavin Little 50, Cameron Winner 51, Ryan Doenges 54, Jakob Meres 58, Asa Moxley 61, Zach Anderson (67-not used).
