Sen. Peter Oberacker meet and greet this Saturday in Norwich

NORWICH — There will be a Meet and Greet for Sen. Peter Oberacker, Republican Candidate for the 51st State Senate District, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. this Saturday, October 29. This will take place in the Republican Headquarters located at 6 East Main Street in Norwich, which is located in the same building as Norwich Copies Plus.

Refreshments will be served including cider, donuts, and more. There will be candidate signs and other campaign materials that are available to take home.

Sen. Peter Oberacker is currently finishing his first term as State Senator in the 51st Senate District. He ran for and won this position after the previous State Senator James Seward announced his retirement two years ago.

The newly redistricted 51st State Senate District includes the following towns in Chenango County: Town and City of Norwich, Afton, Bainbridge, Coventry, Greene, Guilford, and Oxford. It also includes Delaware and Otsego Counties and the eastern and northern areas of Broome County, as well as others.

There is parking beside the building and across the street at East Side Park. The public is invited.
