CHENANGO COUNTY – With the 2022 soccer season officially in the books, the Boys Soccer All-Stars have been announced for the MAC league and the Central Counties League (CCL) that features many Chenango County athletes. Representing the MAC league are UV/GMU, Oxford, Greene, Bainbridge-Guilford, and Afton/Harpursville while Otselic Valley is in the CCL.
MAC First Team:
The following athletes received MAC first team honors;
Greene: Liam Flanagan and Jonah Browning
Afton/Harpursville: Hunter Baciuska, Elijah Baciuska, and Bobby Mercilliott
Oxford: Kayden Renfrow
Bainbridge-Guilford: Garrett O’Hara
UV/GMU: Trent Marinelli, Owen Hill, Trason Murray
MAC Second Team:
For MAC Second Team, the following athletes were recognized;
Greene: Kloden Rapp, Kegan Evans, and Ben Kehl
Oxford: John Rovente
BG: Easton Porter
Afton/Harpursville: Ryan Dawson, Braydon Baciuska, and Aidan Rodgers
UV/GMU: Haywood Edwards
Honorable Mentions:
All four teams also had athletes received an honorable mention for their performances this season.
Greene: Anthony Sergi and Trevor Ketcham
Oxford: Donovan Rickard, Jerry Hornbeck, and Sam Hendricks
Afton/Harpursville: Equan Patterson, Carter Burns, Anthony Obeada, and Tyler Kelly
UV/GMU: Devon Hartwell, Tucker Cattanach, and Connor Edgett.
CCL Honors:
CCL first team honors for the Otselic Valley Vikings went to Braeden Davis while Brandon Blanco made second team and Lukas Schieferstein and Cole Warren received honorable mentions.
Other Awards:

The MAC League also awarded Oxford with the sportsmanship award and UV/GMU’s Josh Burchill was named 2022 MAC Coach of the Year.
