The 2022 Girls Soccer All-Stars announced
CHENANGO COUNTY – Following the conclusion of the 2022 soccer season, the girls soccer all-stars were announced for the MAC league and the Central Counties League (CCL). Each athlete is voted on and selected by fellow coaches.
Athletes from Unadilla Valley, Oxford, Greene, and Bainbridge-Guilford were honored in the MAC while Otselic Valley represents the CCL.
The following athletes received MAC first team honors;
MAC First Team:
UV: Kadence York, Kailee Figger, Jaiden Schrag, Isabella Potter
Greene: Cassie Butler and Molly Cornell
Oxford: Hailey Fleury and Taylor Smith
BG: Johnna Henderson
For MAC Second team, the following athletes were celebrated;
MAC Second Team:
UV: Pyper Kneale
Greene: Sarah Markham and Caitlin Walls
Oxford: Ella Kelsey
BG: Celeste Baldwin and Danica Park
Every MAC team each had several players receive honorable mention for their efforts this season.
Honorable Mention:
UV: Shelby Rose and Kalie Fernandez-Naughton
Greene: Andrea Trifunovic and Audra Doll
Oxford: Taegan Manwarren, Jocie Finch, and Jill Finch
BG: Lainelle Brazee, Breanna Casey, Jayslin Henderson, and Gabriella Cuozzo.
CCL Honors:
Otselic Valley was well represent in the CCL league with Cassidy Will and Paige Will receiving first team honors and Rachel Loomis made the all-star second team. Kali Waltz and Miranda Hackett were applauded for their efforts this season with each receiving honorable mention.
