Norwich Theater Company putting on musical rendition of 'Elf'

NORWICH — The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is to join Norwich Theater Company this season as they stage the hilarious holiday classic, Elf. A musical take on the movie, Buddy the Elf learns the truth about his origins and seeks out newfound family in bustling New York City, setting off a life-changing adventure for all involved.

The play’s cast is local community members of all ages, and will grace the Martin W. Kappel Theater on December 2, 3, and 4.

However, the characters can be met on Saturday, November 26 during the Norwich Parade of Lights, and at the Norwich YMCA on November 12 from 10 a.m. to noon, November 16 from 3 to 6 p.m., and November 17 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Tickets for the December performances can be purchased at NorwichTheaterCompany.com, Service Pharmacy, and the Chenango Arts Council, home of the Martin W. Kappel Theater, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.

This will be the first Norwich Theater Company Christmas play since Dashing Through the Snow in 2019, and the first where Child’s Ticket pricing is available. Call 607-336-2787 for more details.
