Public Health hosting free flu shot clinic

CHENANGO COUNTY ― The Chenango County Department of Public Health is hosting a free flu shot clinic on Friday, November 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Chenango County Office Building, located at 5 Court Street in Norwich, in the basement level of the nursing clinic.

The clinic is open to Chenango County residents aged 10 or older who do not have health insurance, or whose insurance does not cover vaccines.

Supplies are limited. Call 607-337-1660 to register for a free flu shot.

The single best way to prevent the flu is to get the flu shot. Everyone six months of age and older should get the flu vaccine every year. New flu vaccines are produced every year to keep up with flu viruses that change rapidly over time.
