OXFORD – The Oxford Farmers’ Market will be hosting A Seasonal Artisan Market this Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm, as part of a Village-wide Small Business Saturday Shop Hop, with six participating businesses.
The Artisan Market will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park (enter on Merchant Street, across from the Middle School parking lot).
This special market will showcase some of the incredible talent in our community, with a dozen local artists and craftspeople who sew, weave, knit, turn, carve, paint, throw, spin, felt, and bead, all to evoke beauty from nature's raw materials. Vendors will have handmade wreaths and one-of-a-kind ornaments; hand-turned wooden bowls and containers, and hand-carved spoons; one-of a kind cards; beautiful and useful hand-sewn gifts of all kinds, such as aprons, bowl cozies, bowl covers and more; unique pottery items; wool and alpaca yarns and products, including small stocking stuffers; jewelry, artwork and other wonderful gift items. Shoppers can pick up an official Shop Hop bookmark at one of the six participating small businesses in Oxford or at a special tent set up in Lafayette Park to be eligible to win one of six beautiful gift baskets, each valued at $100 or more.
