Norwich Pee-Wee compete in multiple tournaments

CHENANGO COUNTY – The Norwich Pee Wee Wrestling Program had a busy past weekend on Sunday, December 18, 2022.  12 wrestlers travelled to Union-Endicott to wrestle in their tournament. They were Gavin Portelli (3rd place), Hunter Steward (4th place), Bennett Black (3rd place), Alex Beiu (3rd place), Sebastion Beiu (4th place), Kamden Redenback (2nd place), Bryson Miller (3rd place), Cole Alger (4th place), Lucas Button (1st place), Connor Alger (2nd place), Carter Davis (2nd place), and Bowen Durgala (1st place).  
Bryson and Brently Gray travelled to Rochester to wrestle in the Battle of the Thrones Tournament.  They placed second and fifth in the tournament.  
Kolden Downey, Kellen Downey, and Drew Telesky travelled to Burnt Hills to wrestle in the Battle of the Belt Tournament.  All three won the championship and brought home the Championship Belt.  Coach Telesky and coach Schuster, the wrestlers, and parents would like to thank the City of Norwich Youth Bureau for their continued support of this program.
