S-E Golf falls to Hamilton

HAMILTON – The Sherburne-Earlville golf team traveled to Seven Oaks golf course to face Hamilton on Monday, where they fell 175-211. This was the second consecutive match against the Emerald Knights after a close 167-178 deficit last Monday.
S-E’s Garret Winton shot a team-best 43 on the day while Hamilton’s Will Chouinard led all golfers with a 40. S-E’s remaining three golfers struggled on the par 36 course. Balin Olsen had a 54 while teammates Parker Goedel finished with a 55 and Avery Parsons with a 59.
Hamilton finished off with scores of 43, 44, and 48 to seal the victory.
S-E currently stands at 2-2 through four matches played and travels to play Owen D. Young this afternoon at 4 p.m.
