NORWICH — Norwich nonprofit Helping Hands will be hosting their monthly giveaway at 6 p.m., Thursday night, at the Norwich Family YMCA.

Volunteers from around the area will be at the YMCA rain or shine to hand out food, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies to anyone in need, no questions asked. Visitors are welcome to attend by car or on foot and go through stations to collect items they need.

Founder Lorri Race said the organization is able to thrive thanks to the support and dedication of local volunteers and agencies, starting with the Norwich Family YMCA staff.

"We have so many businesses, agencies, and churches that support the community through Helping Hands," said Race.
