NBT Summer Concert Series in the Park rocks with southern Outlaws

NORWICH — The Summer Concert Series sponsored by NBT will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24 in East Park on Broad and Main Street.


According to outlawmusic.com the southern rock band “Outlaws” are from Florida and best known for their 1975 hit “There Goes Another Love Song”, a lengthy guitar jam in “Green Grass and High Tides,” and the 1980 cover of “(Ghost) Riders in the Sky,” earning the band Gold and Platinum record titles.


Information from the Chenango Blues Association stated for more than 40 years many members have come and gone and with the triumphs and tragedies the group still remains one of the best loved bands of the genre.
