Volleyball: B-G sweeps UV

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats volleyball hosted Unadilla Valley for senior night, coming away with a 3-0 sweep.
Prior to the game, the Bobcats honored their lone senior Alyssa Finch. Finch played a big role in the win as she contributed with six kills and five aces. Setter Kaylynn Crandall continues to add to her assists as she finished with 17. Allie Cafasso had five kills and three aces while Peyton Umbra and Kaydence Brimmer both earned four kills each.
Shyla Roberts led the UV Storm with four aces, four kills, two blocks, and two assists. Shannon Gilbert picked up six digs as Haylie Canfield finished with four digs in the loss.
B-G improves to 4-1 in the MAC and is 4-2 overall. The Bobcats travel to take on a tough, unbeaten Walton team this evening at 6 p.m.
The young UV team is still looking for the first win of the season and hopes it’ll come against Unatego tonight at 6 p.m.
