CLAYVILLE – This week, Commerce Chenango would like to highlight Valley Signs in Clayville, New York. The company has been enhancing and elevating the brands of their customers for over 36 years.

With high quality custom indoor and outdoor signage, vehicle wrapping/signage, banners, stickers and decals, Valley Signs aims to make your business stand out. Steve Lowe, owner of Valley Signs, claims that Valley Signs is a “One stop shop for signage.”

Valley Signs has doubled their revenue in the past two years and have seen exponential growth in the past 12-18 months. Lowe values the quality, expertise, and customer service his team provides. As the business has grown, the team has increased as well. Ultimately, Lowe is appreciative of his well-oiled team. “I may be steering the ship, but ultimately they are ones that make it move,” he said. He is pleased that customers may call the business and talk to educated experts and will receive communication through the entire process.

The shop has state-of-the-art equipment including printers, paint systems and a CNC machine. This equipment is the best in the industry. According to Lowe, who comes from a design background, Valley Signs is pushing design and project management capabilities.

The company is trained through 3M for vinyl applications and installations and is also certified 3M MCS (matching component system) warrantors. The employees use and are trained in Matthew’s paint systems. Valley Signs is also a good standing member of the North East State Sign Association as well as the International Sign Association.

Lowe said that there are exciting opportunities in and around Chenango County for economic development and that it is ripe for growth. Lowe claims one of his favorite parts of the job is seeing the fruits of his labor. “It’s fun to drive around and see work that we got to build; it’s exciting and rewarding.”

Valley Signs sponsors many events and can often provide signage, one of the ways they are active in the community. They donate time, signage, and sponsorships to groups like Integrated Community Alternatives Network (ICAN), Uptown Theatre for Creative Arts, and Lowe’s own charity CNY Birdies Fore Babies, to name some recent community contributions. Valley Signs often donates signage to organizations or events to help offset costs.

During this company’s period of great development, they are looking for help. Valley Signs is currently hiring two positions and looks to add more to their team soon. There are large projects on the horizon and Lowe is looking to bolster his team. Interested parties can apply online at valleysigns.com and on Indeed.
