BOYS SOCCER: Greene advances with win over Union Springs
UNION SPRINGS – The Greene Trojans began its 2023 Sectionals campaign on a high note as they defeated Union Springs/Port Byron 2-1 on Tuesday. The Trojans have continued to have success for the last few seasons, including a 2021 sectionals championship. With a slightly different team, Greene is eager to do it again two years later.
Shane Rideout and Jon Westcott both scored while Kloden Rapp earned an assist in the win. With the contribution, Westcott picked up his eighth goal of the game.
