NYS&W Railway ran the line through Norwich

NORWICH – On Monday, December 4, New York Susqehanna and Western (NYS&W) Railway ran a train through Norwich consisting of a locomotive and two empty maintenance cars that are used to carry track stone (ballast) from Binghamton to Sangerfield. According to NYS&W Corp Media personnel Melanie Boyer, no other trains have been scheduled. She said the indication is that it is possible for a locomotive to run over the line but not an indication that operations will start up.
