HANCOCK – The Greene/Oxford bowling team was back in action to kick off the new year on the road against Deposit. Both the boys and girls came away with victories for the Trojans. The boys took the 3-1 win as the girls swept the boards 4-0.

The boys won by an overall score of 2316-2087, only losing the third game. Nick Flynn led Greene/Oxford with a 583 series, including a 224 in the second game. Aiden Carter bowled the highest game of the afternoon with a 234 in his first of two games.

The Greene/Oxford girls outscored Deposit 2530-1944 with the help of senior Brianna Fowlston. Fowlston bowled a best 631 series, rolling a 226 in her first game and finishing strong with a 205 and a 200. Harlee Montgomery followed with a 499 series, bowling her highest game of a 182.

Greene/Oxford hosts Afton/Harpursville on Monday at 3:45 p.m.
