OXFORD — It’s that time of year again, when we turn our attention to those we love and shower them with appreciation. Love of all the delicious and beautiful products brought to us by our local producers is what the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market will be celebrating this Saturday, where you will find everything you need for your Super Bowl parties and to make your Valentine’s Day dinner extra special.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect roast or steak for that home-cooked, candle-lit dinner, or sausages, ground beef, or lamb for a Super Bowl party for friends, the Market’s vendors have what you’re looking for. As well as the seasonal veggies, cheeses, butters, breads, and delicious baked goods to take you all the way through to dessert. In addition to the lovely hand-made teas, soaps, salves, aprons and other items for the love in your life.
Whatever you find to serve or to gift, it will be extra special for being locally raised and produced. You will be sending a love letter to your community this month by shopping locally.
The sweet-voiced Khalil Jade will be performing indoors on Saturday and a warm meal will be served at the Conversation Table (to eat in or to take away).
Shop the Oxford Winter Farmers’ Market this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, located at 16 Fort Hill Park. Enter on Merchant Street, across from the middle school parking lot, where there is plenty of parking.
