Boys’ Basketball: B-G drops to Delhi

DELHI – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys’ basketball team faced a tough Delhi Bulldogs team in what felt like a rematch from the 2023 MAC championship game. Tuesday’s game brought the winner to this year’s MAC title game with Delhi excelling, like they’ve done all year, with a 72-31 win. Delhi will face Sidney in the title game on Saturday at Unadilla Valley.
B-G’s James Hogroian, who averaged around 21.4 points per game throughout the season, was held to just eight points in the loss.
B-G, as the fourth seed after finishing fourth in the MAC, heads to Greene in the consolation game, which should be played in the next few days. Greene defeated B-G in the regular season in a close 46-43 game, which only means this game will be just as intense to wrap up play before sectionals. The consolation game will take place Thursday, February 15 at 7:15 p.m. in Greene.
