Baseball: Oxford picks up first win of the season vs Harpursville

HARPURSVILLE – The Oxford Blackhawks baseball team is busy getting games in as they hosted Unatego/Franklin on Monday and went to Harpursville on Tuesday. Oxford picked up its first win of the season with a 6-1 victory over the Hornets.
Nic Dodzweit pitched a great game on the mound, going six and two-third innings, holding Harpursville hitless and struck out 14 batters. Conner Dunagan closed the game and secured the victory. At the plate, Degan Endress reached base safely twice and scored two runs.
Oxford (1-3) heads to Delhi this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
