GREENE – After a few challenging games to kick off the 2024 season, the Greene Trojans softball team hosted Unatego for their home opener on Tuesday afternoon. Greene’s bats fired up with a 18-1 victory, their first of the season. Abby Yahner led the team with three hits and four RBIs as Cali Knapp went 3-for-4 at the plate. Alexis Cloyd and Mya Leggett added onto the fun as Cloyd had two hits and drove in two runs while Leggett also had two RBIs. Greene (1-2) hosts Sidney this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
