BAINBRIDGE – Noah Janinda, a Senior at Bainbridge-Guilford High School, has signed his national letter of intent to play Division II football at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) in Sparkill, NY. His signing ceremony took place in Bainbridge and was attended by friends and family.
Janinda has been with the B-G football program for the past five years, where he was able to build up his talents and confidence to take his playing career to the next level. During his senior year, Noah was a two-way starter, playing offensive slot receiver and defensive cornerback. He will continue at the cornerback position while at St. Thomas Aquinas.
When asked why he chose STAC after receiving six competing offers to play football at different colleges, Janinda said, “The coaches at STAC are very honest about where they are and from what I’ve seen, they’re building something pretty big over there. I’m excited to be a part of that.”
He then went on to talk about playing for the Spartans, “I want to get better with each and every practice. I’m committed to the program and will help push the defense and our team to a championship year.”
While attending St. Thomas Aquinas College, Janinda will be majoring in Psychology and aspires to become a college football coach.
Congratulations, Noah and best of luck!
