Greene Softball drops tough game vs Sidney

SIDNEY – After a change in venue, the Greene Trojans softball team headed to Sidney for a MAC league match-up. Thursday’s game came after Greene picked up their first win of the season against Unatego on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 18-8 to Sidney. Rhea Malmquist and Mya Leggett both led Greene with three hits as Mia Yahner had two hits and a team-high three RBIs on the day. Greene (1-3) heads to Deposit/Hancock this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. before playing under the lights at home on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Dryden.
