Softball: Norwich drops to Windsor

WINDSOR – The Norwich Purple Tornado softball team faced Windsor on Monday afternoon for the second time this season. Norwich fell 8-0 to start the season 0-7. With three remaining games in the week, Norwich looks to make a big comeback at home.
Windsor added all eight runs within the first three innings and were held quiet throughout the remaining four innings. The Black Knights were also limited to just three hits by Norwich’s Caitlin Wetterhahn. However, Norwich themselves were held to just one hit and two base runners on the day.
