OXFORD – On Wednesday, the Oxford Blackhawks tennis team welcomed Greene for a neighborly match-up. These two teams played each other back-to-back with Greene picking up two wins. Greene won 4-1 on Wednesday.

Sam Hendricks took on Shane Rideout in the first singles, where Rideout came away with the 6-2, 6-3 victory. Hunter Becker played Jerry Hornbeck and won 6-4, 6-0. Oxford’s Jayne Fleury gave Greene’s Naomi Burghardt a tough match, where a third set was enforced after both split the first and second. Fleury picked up the 6-0 victory to earn one team point.
