GREENE – The Greene Trojans tennis team played back-to-back matches against Sidney on Monday and Tuesday, where Greene came out on top and picked up two wins. Greene won 4-1 on Monday and held on to a 3-2 victory on Tuesday. Greene won one singles match and swept the doubles.

Shane Rideout won the lone singles match as Hunter Becker and Morgan Quarella put up a good fight but fell short. Becker forced a third set, but couldn’t get ahead in the final set against Kyle Smith. Rideout defeated Gavin Granger for the second straight day, this time with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
