B-G baseball falls to Moravia

MORAVIA – Coming off a big win against Delhi in the first round of the Section IV, Class C tournament, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats baseball team traveled to face third-seed Moravia. The Bobcats could not make a big comeback with a season-ending 5-2 loss.

After Moravia got on the board in the bottom of the second with a run, B-G answered back with two runs to keep the fiery offense going. Connor Davy did what he does best by drilling a deep ball to left field for a two-run home run as Kaiden Seymour scored after reaching on a walk. Unfortunately, that would be all the scoring for the Bobcats and Moravia added four runs in the bottom of the third and held B-G to secure the victory. Davy, Damon Seymour, and Parker Buttice, who had two hits, provided the hits for the offense while the rest reached on walks.
