DELHI – The Greene Trojans softball team had a solid finish to the 2024 season to receive a first-round bye in the Section IV, Class C tournament as the fifth seed. Greene, who finished 8-5, traveled to take on fourth-seed and MAC opponent Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans came away with the 12-4 victory to advance to the semi-finals against top-seed Tioga.

Greene scored 12 runs on 10 hits and really strived on offense in the fourth and fifth innings. The Trojans scored four runs in the fourth and five in the seventh. Delhi plated four runs in their final at-bats in the bottom of the seventh.
