OXFORD – The 15th annual Tim Evans Memorial Golf Tournament Scholarship fundraiser will be held this Saturday, June 8 at Bluestone Golf Course in Oxford.
This year, the family will also be celebrating the life of Robert Smith. Smith passed away on Christmas Eve after losing his battle with cancer. Smith is most remembered for his passion for the outdoors, family, and friends, and for always being able to lend a helping hand.
The tournament proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society as this year’s charitable cause. The family and scholarship committee has chosen a different charity to donate to for the past five years and are thankful for the community support through their toughest hour. The shotgun start begins at 10 a.m.
