NORWICH — Silicon Trading, LLC, an award winning manufacturing company, is reconsidering plans on where to move its warehouse after rules limiting chemical storage disqualified the originally desired location in the City of Norwich.
Officials said the company is dedicated to finding a new location in Chenango County.
Commerce Chenango President and CEO Salvatore Testani and City of Norwich Community Development Director Erik Scrivener had been working with US Silicon Trading since last summer.
Mane Grigoryan CEO and Co-Founder of US Silicon Trading said, “US Silicon Trading, LLC has encountered some challenges in meeting the local requirements for setting up its new US market headquarters in Norwich, due to it’s close proximity to the town centre.”
