NORWICH – The first Operation Enduring Warrior Captain and Crew Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m. at the Canasawacta Country Club.
Enduring Warrior team member, Adam Francis said the tournament is a great way to spread awareness of the organization as well as get more veterans involved in the sport of golf as a coping mechanism.
The Operation Enduring Warrior organization started out in 2015, so it is still brand new to the area and carries over across the nation. The organization features over 200 and growing honorees and around 30 masked athletes.
The organization is a 501 (c) (3) and runs on several volunteers who go out of their way to answer the call and help their fellow veterans and service members in need anywhere from here in New York State or even in Ohio to anywhere in the nation and they do it out of love.
