NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley and Greene volleyball teams faced off in a MAC league matchup on Tuesday evening. For Greene, it was their first match of the season and for the UV Storm, it was their 2024 home opener and second match after coming up short against Sidney 3-2 last Thursday. UV swept Greene in three sets with scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 24-14.

UV’s Shyla Roberts led the team with 10 aces and six kills as Cheyanne McMahon had eight aces and one kill. Madison Pierce’s five assists also led the Storm, along with her three aces and one kill. Shannon Gilbert had the team’s two digs on the night while also adding four aces. Brynley Luca contributed with three aces and a kill as Isabel Bonilla finished with one kill.
