BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats volleyball team welcomed MAC opponent Oxford to the high school gymnasium on Tuesday evening for their home opener. Tuesday’s matchup was B-G’s first official match of the season after competing in the VolleyFall Classic in Union-Endicott over the weekend. For Oxford, it was their second match of the season, after the loss to Walton to start the season.

B-G defeated Oxford 3-1. B-G won the first two matches by scores of 25-11 and 25-13 before Oxford came back to win 25-20 to force a fourth set. The Bobcats finished strong with a 25-15 win.

Kaylynn Crandall led the Bobcats with 17 assists and five aces as Alessandra Cafasso finished with seven kills, eight aces, and 10 digs. Peyton Umbra had six kills and seven digs in the win.
