UV/GMU XC hosts MAC 4000, featuring Norwich and BGAH

NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley/GMU cross country team hosted the MAC 4000, which featured both Norwich and Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville. Delhi-South Kortright swept the meet by achieving the lowest score for both the girls and boys. BGAH girls came in second (67 pts) and the boys took third (91 pts).

UV/GMU’s Andrea Favinger ran to a fourth place finish with a time of 18:11. BGAH’s Maddie Ingham finished in the top 10 with a 10th place finish with a time of 21:20. Vanessa Brazee, Laeni Baldwin, and Jalyn Winans followed in 11th, 12th, and 13th for the Bears. Norwich’s Kyra Brunick-Davis finished 15th with Emilia Pepe behind her in 16th place. BGAH’s Ariana Florance (21st), Marissa Mayo (22nd), Ruth Wilson (25th), Loegan Barnard (29th), Issy Ramos (31st), UV/GMU’s Kathleen Pizzuto (26th), and Norwich’s Laci Zieno (28th) all placed in a field of 31 female runners.
