Oxford will celebrate 5th Annual Oxtoberfest festival

OXFORD – The 5th Annual Oxtoberfest will arrive soon in the Oxford community. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, October 5, at 20 Lafayette Park, rain or shine.


“We are so excited for this year's Oxtoberfest,” said Sarah Smith, President of Promote Oxford Now (PON). “We have amazing crafters and vendors, food, music and kids activities.”


“This is our favorite community event and we hope that kids, teens and adults enjoy the festivities,” said Smith.


Jessica Henninge, Vice President of PON, welcomes all to celebrate at the beautiful autumn festival right at home.

“We want to welcome residents to celebrate, as well as our surrounding neighbors,” Henninge recently said. “We welcome everyone to join in the fun right here in Oxford.”


Henninge said vendor spaces filled quickly and will provide fall crafts, foods, and art. Kutiks, the Northeast's largest apiary and event sponsor will offer their many honey varieties.


“The Impish Grin will be near the water fountain, selling creative hanging key mobiles and Jiji Designs 4 U has created a fun mystery book package to treat yourself or a friend,” she added.
