Girls Soccer: UV bounces back, shuts out Greene

GREENE – Coming off a hard loss to Oxford, the Unadilla Valley Storm girls’ soccer team played Greene in a MAC league match-up, where they quickly bounced back with a 2-0 victory.

Both teams put up a good battle in a downpour of a rain storm. UV kept good field possession and loaded up on penalty corners, which gave them opportunities, while Greene played good defense.

UV’s Natalie Crandall made good shots on goal, which then lead to her breakaway to the net to score the first goal of the game. It was 1-0 at halftime.
