GREENE – The Greene Trojans football team celebrated homecoming week with a big 47-12 win over Catskill. Greene played their section II opponent for a second time this season, after defeating them 48-0 in the first game. This win puts Greene back on track after dropping two league games and hopes to keep efforts going to return to the playoffs.

“This week, we were in better heath and were more physical in practice,” Greene head coach Dave Gorton said. “We were in better shape, quicker, more focused and much happier.”

The Trojans were in good control of this contest with a 22-0 lead after the first quarter and were able to score quick touchdowns from good work on special teams as well.
