MCDONOUGH — R&D K9 Country Kennels, LLC Owners Rebecca and Dale Meek invite the public to their grand opening from 12 to 4 p.m., October 12, located at 1251 State Highway 220 in McDonough.

“There will be cupcakes for families and their pups, and drinks available,” said Rebecca. “Balloons will be handed out and door prizes will include 50 percent off first day, a rice bed, doggy dishes, key chains, shirts and pens.”

She said guests can take a walk through the kennels and after the event they will be disinfected.

“People can carry Parvo and other things on their feet, so I want to make sure my kennels are clean before we take in any pets,” Rebecca said.

“Our new facility has many amenities and offers comfort and care while home owners are away,” she said. “Dogs are our family and we strive to not only make sure your dog is happy, but you as well.”

“All dogs will be supervised in the 75x75 play area and offered a variety of toys to keep them entertained,” said Rebecca.

“We have seven floor to ceiling kennels that provide indoor/outdoor runs, AC/Heating, 24/7 monitoring, TV's for pets to enjoy during their stay and soothing music overnight,” she added. “Six kennels are 5x4 and one is 6x5.”
