Chenango Arts Council offering creative writing workshop series

NORWICH — The Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich, is offering a creative writing workshop series led by writer Christopher Dean.


The series will be held every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, October 15, with the final session scheduled for Tuesday, November 12.


"It's like a tutorial to get started in creative writing," said Chenango Arts Council Administrative Assistant Mary Beth Miller. "Don’t be afraid if you're a beginner or you’re like, 'I don’t know how to do that.' It’s beginners welcome, so come give it a try."


Participation in the series is $50 for Chenango Arts Council members and $55 for non-members. To register, visit ChenangoArts.org/workshops.

Tuition covers all supplies needed for the workshop.


Christopher Dean is a seasoned writer, holding a Master's in Fine Art with a focus on creative writing in the entertainment industry. He has written three novellas, a memoir, and a book of poems.
