MARATHON – Over the weekend, the Norwich and UV/GMU cross country teams competed in the Marathon Invitational held by the Marathon Elementary School. Both teams competed in the girls and boys unseeded race. Both teams also have at least one more meet before league championships.

NORWICH

Boys:

The Norwich Purple Tornado boys were led by Caden Sutton, Nic Sutton, and Connor Marshall. Caden took fourth in the boys unseeded 5000 meter run with a time of 18:17. Nic finished two spots behind in sixth place with a time of 18:34. Marshall rounded out the Norwich boys with a 151st place finish among 153 unseeded male runners with a time of 32:40, which is a new personal best for the junior.
