ONEONTA – The 2024 Cross Country STAC Championship was underway over the weekend, which featured the Norwich Purple Tornado boys and girls teams.

The meet was held at Fortin Park in Oneonta. The Norwich girls came away with the STAC East divisional title and were led by Emilia Pepe, Kyra Brunick-Davis, and Laci Zieno. Pepe led the team with a 45th place finish with a time of 24:31.80, which is a new personal best for the junior. Brunick-Davis followed with a 61st place finish with a time of 26:10.60 as Laci Zieno finished 75th with a personal best time of 32:04.30. Congratulations, ladies.
