Earlville Free Library hosting holiday Open House on Saturday

EARLVILLE — The Earlville Free Library, located at 4 North Main Street in Earlville, will be hosting their annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.
Area residents are invited to celebrate the holiday season and check out the Earlville Free Library. Visitors can enjoy cookies and punch all day long, and sit down with Mrs. Claus for a reading of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" from 5 to 5:45 p.m.
At 6 p.m., step outside and watch the Village of Earlville light up during the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
"It’s through the town, through the Earlville for Earlville events committee, and at 6 o'clock they’ll be doing a benediction and then the lighting of the trees," said Earlville Free Library Director Jill Nelson.
All day the Earlville Free Library will also be selling raffle tickets for a variety of gift baskets, including a family baking basket with a cookie sheet, a cupcake baking pan, spatulas, measuring cups, a gingerbread house kit, and more; a basket of lottery tickets; a "Cup o' Comfort" basket with coffee, tea, and a tumbler cup; a local giveaway package from the Poolville Country Store with a $50 dinner voucher and one night of accommodations; a Keurig coffee maker with bags of coffee; and more.
