Parolee back in jail following Norwich drug investigation

NORWICH - The Norwich Police Department (NPD), in collaboration with New York State Parole, has concluded an investigation into narcotics leading to the arrest of a local man.
Norwich Police Chief Reuben J. Roach said police found suspected drugs, paraphernalia, counterfeit cash, and weapons. He said the man arrested in the case was currently on parole from New York State prison for a drug-related offense.
Aaron John Johnson, 28, of Norwich, faces several charges, including possession of a forged instrument, a Class C felony; possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, a Class B felony; possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, also a Class B felony; and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
