OXFORD – After a stellar win to kick off the season against Morris, the Oxford Blackhawks boys basketball team put on a show again in front of their home crowd with a dominant 85-48 win over Marathon.

The Blackhawks came out with a bang with 49 points in the first half before settling in, but never slowing down in the second half. It was 68-34 to start the fourth quarter with Oxford's top two scorers finishing with 20 plus points.

Ben Sheridan and Donovan Rickard showed off as a dynamic duo. Sheridan led the team with 24 points, including three three-pointers. Rickard hit one three and made nine field goals for 23 points. Gordon Smith joined in on the fun with dropping 16 points.
