WALTON – Over the weekend, the BGAH wrestling team traveled to Walton to compete in the Cuneen Doane tournament, where they took 14th out of 15 teams. Homer won the overall meet with 181 points with Sidney in seventh place.

BGAH had three wrestlers place with Zane Mumbulo and Silas Greenman earning fourth place finishes as Elliott Briggs finished sixth in the 285 weight class.

Silas Greenman went 3-2 in the 152 weight class with a 19-5 win by technical fall, a 15-12 decision in overtime, and won an 8-2 decision in the consolation round. Mumbulo also went 3-2 with a 17-1 win by technical fall, a major 13-1 decision, and a 11-7 decision in the 145 weight class.
