FABIUS – Over the holiday break, the Otselic Valley Vikings boys basketball team traveled to Fabius-Pompey High School for the “Sports Boosters Holiday Tournament.” OV defeated Fabius-Pompey on Saturday evening before falling to Morrisville-Eaton on Monday.

OV defeated Fabius-Pompey 79-64 in a game where OV outscored the Falcons 26-8 in the first quarter and kept the pace up, even with Fabius-Pompey getting closer in the fourth quarter.

Lukas Schieferstein led the Vikings with 24 points and six rebounds as Payne Wood dropped 22 points and seven rebounds. Owen Davis put up 17 points and had eight assists. Caleb Loomis posted a double-double with 11 points and a team-high 13 assists, going three for four in three-point shooting.
