FABIUS – Like the boys, the Otselic Valley Vikings girls basketball team played in the Fabius-Pompey “Sports Boosters Holiday Tournament” over the weekend, which concluded on Monday evening. OV dropped to both Fabius-Pompey and McGraw.

OV fell to Fabius-Pompey 54-25. Both teams were off to a slow start with the Falcons leading 21-12 at halftime. Fabius-Pompey picked up the pace in the second half, where the Vikings were held to 13 points in the final 16 minutes.

Miranda Hackett led the Vikings with eight points as Katie Kenyon and Mackenzie Reandeau both finished with three points. Reandeau also led the team in rebounds with 10. Abiana White added a bucket as Riley Bartlett made one free-throw.
